Decided to blog a little during my lunch break, cos I was reading through all of you people's and it got me inspired......

1) First of all, before we end 2004, I want to thank God that Sharon is coming and Fuxiang is
staying with us. It is really encouraging to me and I believe for the cg too, that we are
making a difference and it is showing. Sharon and Fuxiang, God loves you and we love
you too!


2) Remember the season that God wants us (W140) to move into:

INFLUENCE
"Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do
not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes.
Isa 54:2

It's a season of making bold steps to step out to purposefully influence.


If you ask me, I'm still not happy with where I am. It's like you know there is a place God wants you to come to, and you keep walking yet somehow have not come to it, so I'm still doing and searching, doing and searching. But I know, I will come to the place. Dear people, keep walking! Exciting things are unfolding though you may not feel it! You'll be caught up in it sooner or later!

Shoes!

Hi.....it's been a long time. Been plunging myself into my work (admin in the day, sales at night) this week. I managed to read all the blogs of all my beloveds and thought it's time for me to write something.

I wanna say something following on what Hui wrote. I wanna say it to my beloved W140. Huiling has not given up. Though there are many twists and turns this year, but nothing has ended. With a good attitude, trials make us better, love people more, treasure God's grace more preciously, and want to be a better servant. So Huiling has not given up, has not despaired, has gotten over disappointment. And you all can't give up too. Because we are in it together, for better, never for worse.

So now that God is taking Hui out of her comfort zone, and she begins to see more things, I wanna say this:

I told Ying over the phone, that nobody can replace Hui's shoes. Nobody needs to. We all simply need to wear bigger shoes, our own pair of bigger shoes. Nobody is needed to wear Hui's shoes because everybody will be filling in their own shoes, just that it's a much bigger size. So W140, we all have outgrown our old sizes, like Hui said, time to be out of comfort zone and wear a bigger size, because it'll fit much better then something that God has made us outgrown. We may need time to get used to the space and air in a bigger size, but it'll fit better.

I love you all. I believe in us. I believe in W140. Only if we do not give up, do not criticise one another, but do all things in love. I really do believe.

Now, I just want to be a good leader, a good discipler, a good servant, a good friend, a good follower of Christ. My enemy is only myself, and I wanna outdo myself for God. Help me to fulfill all this as we help one another. Love you guys.

My dearest my dearest all......

I realised that I had missed so much by not blogging, or at least I felt that I had missed so much. Felt like I've been around the world and back (my world is actually all my SOT exams, late assignments to catch up, Bible reading to catch up etc.) I felt like I have fought a war and came back. Haha. The GOOD NEWS is, I CLEARED all my exams!!! Praise God and thanks for all the prayers. Hmmm...but my battle has not ended yet! A great number of friends came for Celebration and I'm hoping that together with God and my beloved W140, we're gonna bear fruits. So there's work, work, and more work. Cos' REVIVAL is spelled W-O-R-K! :)

But I'm happy being busy because, "It is not how well you start, but how well you end". I'm determined to run a good race before the year ends at least. Jia you my di xiong jie mei in Christ!

Hi dear guys and gals,

I'm having an exam on Wed 1.30-3.30pm 19 Oct 2004.....Subject is History of Christianity...as you all can tell, it's all about history....and I don't have time to study..so please pray for me. Appreciate it!!!

You know what, I've planned quite a number of activities for cg along the line of visitations, events, fasting and prayer etc. I believe that indeed Oct till Dec 2004 won't be wasted. If we continue to communicate like the way we do now, things are looking good. All I need now is to know that when I share our vision (w140), I have young man and woman of God willing to put in whatever effort you guys have, to show ourselves and others that WE CAN STILL MAKE THINGS HAPPEN! Really, it's not difficult, but I need commitment from all my beloved team. Do I have it? In Jesus' name, Your will be done!

Hi everybody! I'm checking out another online photo hosting site but found that the photos turned out to very big (I don't like it), so expect some editing changes in the next few weeks.

Another dear person that God put in my life this season is my primary school friend Lingling....she has been especially sweet and thoughtful to me when I struggle with stress in SOT recently...





And one big news here is that my beloved Deb found me a card full of babies!!!!! Those who know me should know that I don't take a liking to children, and have no intention of taking a liking to babies! So, to honor such an "incredible, brave" feat, I'm putting up a version of "The Card" taken with my handphone...

Plenty of thoughts went through my mind these days....but God has been revealing to me and assuring me of my ways...

I realized that I go through tough times not because I do wrong things or stuff like that

Once in a while, one feels like taking a sip of coffee, listening to some instrumental music, to find yourself, to find where your soul lies....

It's easy to be lost in a populated nation like Singapore, people are bustling everywhere, and you jostle with the crowd everywhere you go...but here am I, finding release in quiet solitude. Its not about being depressed, it's not about being lonely, it's just about finding yourself.

Knowing where you stand, knowing Whom you came from, knowing where you are going...

Jesus often withdrew from the crowds to find time with His Father, and I'm withdrawing to my Father too. When every activity clamour for my attention, in my Father I find grace by faith, strength in my heart...and this is my prayer for you if you are feeling the same way as me.
